Party and Prom 2011

We're headed to Chicago in a week to choose our Prom 2011 collection and party dresses for upcoming charity events, homecoming and just for pretty. We would love to know what you would like to see: colors, styles, sizes, whatever you would like but can't find now or would like to find at the funnest store in Madison!

Bride and Prejudice

July's Movie of the Month marks one of my favorite movie going experiences ever, Bride and Prejudice. I am a total Jane Austen fan and find her themes used and re-used in movies all the time, but this has to be the most fun adaptation. Paying homage to Bollywood, this bright, energetic and very colorful movie is truly fun, if a bit cheesy.

And speaking of color, we've decided to honor this month's movie with a beautiful necklace and earring set made of polished stones in amazingly stunning and vibrant colors as our gift with every dress purchase.

As many of you already know, I love to feature photos of our brides and grooms as captured on their wedding day. I never ever get tired of looking at them! Today I have the special privilege of sharing wedding photos of my nephew David and his new wife Audrey. The images were taken by Neil of Front Room Photography and I cannot express how pleased I am with them. Actually, Neil has now photographed the weddings of two of my nephews. I see a growing- and very awesome - trend here! I can't link to their photos yet, but check out the photos on their blog.

Surf's Up!

This month has already proved to be a roller coaster of weather but summer is definitely here! Our Movie of the Month is Surf's Up, which I believe is one of the most clever premises for a kid's movie ever. The animation is amazing and will make you want to throw your swimsuit on and head to the nearest beach!

We'll be open today Noon - 6pm and Saturday 10 -4 this holiday weekend. We'll be closed Sunday, Monday but OPEN ON TUESDAY FROM NOON UNTIL 6. Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day!
