This month's movie is a favorite of mine. Before Meg Ryan had any unfortunate plastic surgery, Hugh Jackman became Wolverine or Liev Shreiber became his toothy brother, they made this charming little romantic comedy Kate and Leopold. It was during this film that I learned that Hugh Jackman was an accomplished singer. And because of this movie I'll never look at an elevator or margarine the same way again. It also gives you a glimpse at the zenith of corst gowns as fashion. This movie was released in 2001, when we were still up to our elbows in corset bridal gowns and this movie captures the look - though not in a bridal gown - beautifully.
When you purchase a dress or gown at Premiere Couture during the month of August you'll receive this very charming time-inspired necklace and earring set. Like the movie, it's just enough whimsy to make time pass a little more sweetly.

Wow! Julia just saw this for the first time last week while on the couch at home suffering from dry sockets after having her wisdom teeth out. :(
Now she'll have a chance to watch it at work and hopefully enjoy it a bit more! ;)
