In Style - The Color Issue

Every month I read my In Style magazine from cover to cover, but my favorite issue of the year is the color issue. This year's color of the year is Tangerine Tango and it is EVERYWHERE. I do love tangerine, but there are many more trends that caught my eye this month.

One of my favorite new trends in neon. I am loving the belts, bags and for those of us more daring, dresses. At Premiere Couture we have been loving Lynn Lugo's neon sashes and flowers as accents on bridesmaid dresses and bridal gowns. For those more daring we have gorgeous neon options for prom. It's all very 80's and I love it!

Color blocking is another hot trend. Breaking up a bridesmaid dress with a contrasting sash not only makes your waist look tiny, but it adds a pop of color. While you're adding color don't forget your nails. Pastel nails (think lilac, canary yellow or light blue) are hot right now. Check out these colors from Butter London.

In my book black and white never goes out of style and In Style says it's back. They also are loving chiffon and the Dessy Collection is full of gorgeous chiffon dresses. Another trend that seems to come around every spring is polka dots and they're back! My final favorite trend is gold. It's another trend that you can dabble in with your shoes, purse or jewelry or dive into with a gorgeous gown.
