ATL and Premiere
Laura and I took a rather spontaneous trip to Atlanta this past weekend to shop for Prom 2009(Already! I know!) and to look for fresh ideas for you. And we succeeded! In the next few weeks stop by to see new ready-to-wear dresses that are fun, fashionable and refreshingly affordable. Because you can basically just throw them on and go they're perfect for attending charitable events, rehearsal dinners or parties of about any sort and they're travel-perfect so pack one or two for your honeymoon. The photos below include a few pix from my cell phone plus some catalog shots.
The model, who turned out to be just a friend of another designer's staff, was super helpful and very fun.
We also found a new, super cute, super wearable designs for homecoming. These new collections will be available right off of the rack for those of you who do not have time to special order from our other collections.
We were also enticed by a brand new handbag designer that uses recycled tabs from aluminum cans to create designs that are surprisingly soft.

Kay, Patra, Sara & Sarah - A Photo Album
Adding photos of real brides is something I've just been focusing on recently and so I'm going to play a little catch up. I'm am continually telling people what amazing women become Premiere Couture brides and if you knew each of our brides, you would see that they are incredible in every way. Our brides our vivacious, intelligent, witty, talented and beautiful. I sometimes think that there's an invisible sign above our door that says "Only Remarkable Women Welcome" because without exception, our brides are truly that.
Kay was married this past winter and was the picture of perfection. She is as friendly and smart as she is beautiful. John Ladwig had the privilege of photographing Kay's wedding.
Patra's wedding was in the winter as well but she chose to get married in warm paradise. Again, it will be no surprise that she is an incredible woman, both inside and out. We get to meet and work with the most amazing women! Congratulations again Patra!
Sara was married last year and exuded an inner beauty. She sent this message with the link to these photos:
"I thought I would forward you a few pictures from my wedding in Door County. I can't thank you enough. Your boutique is heads above the rest and it made dress shopping a wonderful experience. I absolutely loved my dress!"
Thank you, Sara! We loved working with you! Congratulations!
Sarah was also married last year and not only was she breathtaking, but so was her setting. It was truly a treat to work with Sarah. She included this note with her photos:
"Rosemary and Premiere staff,
We finally received our digital negatives from our photographer and I could not wait to share a few with you. Enjoy and thank you for outfitting me and my bridesmaids so beautifully! We received so many compliments on our attire."
Sarah's photos were taken by Alive Studios in Boulder, Colorado.
Premiere Couture warmly congratulates all of you again, and all of our wonderful brides who aren't represented here. We are truly blessed to have had a part in each of your weddings.

Lazy Days of Summer - Vera Wang Sale
Just a reminder that Vera Wang's "Lazy Days of Summer" promotion ends August 30. Now's your chance to save 10%; 20% if you're a Premiere Couture bride.
An introduction and playing dress up
I would like to introduce Ryne, our new intern. He is a junior in high school and aspires to one day be a fashion designer. You can see some of his beautiful sketches on his self-created website. One day, when he's on Project Runway, he'll be telling people about the quirky ladies at a little bridal boutique in Madison that saw promise in his designs.
Laura and I have a unique business relationship in that we have been close friends since elementary school - a recipe for disaster in business according to most. But our friendship and mutual respect have only served to strengthen the business side of our relationship. Now Laura and I have daughters that are the same age and they are great friends. They joined us at the store today and were playing dress up within about five minutes of the door being opened. There are some perks to having moms with a bridal shop!
Anna, Laura's daughter, is sweet in Lynn Lugo's lemonade dupioni and Marlie, Rosemary's daughter, is feeling pretty in Vera Wang. And, of course, they're both loving the Christina Garcia headpieces.

Beautiful Brides and New Arrivals
Lots to share today! Again Michael and Heather Krakora got to have the enviable position of capturing the wedding of one of our wonderful brides, Erica, this past Saturday. We had the distinct honor of assisting not only the bride, but the bridesmaids and mothers as well. Thank you again, Erica, and we wish you heartfelt congratulations! Check out more images from their wedding by visiting Michael and Heather's blog and make sure you treat yourself to the slide show presentation.
We often lament the fact that we suffer withdrawal from each of our fantastic brides once their wedding day comes and goes because we no longer get to see them. We're offered a reprieve, however, when they send us heartwarming thank you notes, especially when there are snapshots enclosed! Such was the case today. I received several snapshots from Julie and I'm sharing a few of them with you because she was so beautiful and kind. We look forward to hopefully having the same good fortune from one of her very best friends and bridesmaids, Joanna, whom we also had the privilege of serving for her own wedding which is coming up in just a week! Congratulations Julie and Matt!
We recently received new additions to our permanent collection from jewelry and hair art designer Christina Garcia. I would encourage you to click each of the photos to appreciate the incredible details that make each piece worthy of not only heirloom status, but collector status as well.
