We were unable to view Caroline DeVillo's newest collections in New York earlier this month so she is doing us the great favor of bringing them to us! Would you like to see them as we do? Caroline, along with her lovely new creations, will be visiting us next weekend, November 7 and 8. You may make an appointment to not only see the freshly unveiled designs, but to work directly with Caroline as you try them on.
Caroline's "Abigail" looks spectacular on America's Next Top Model contestant, Heather, in this unique photo Laura found at the New York Post's blog.

We congratulate Kate and Kate
Thanks to Molly Michel of Mthree Studio, we can share with you some gorgeous photos of two brides that we were fortunate enough to work with earlier this year, Kate D. in her beautiful and sophisticated bridal gown and Kate B. in her gorgeous Christina Garcia hair art. Mthree Studio is new to us and this is our preferred method to be introduced to new photographers - through the wonderful experiences of our brides. Thank you Molly, and congratulations Kate D. and Kate B.!

ECO-CHICC Handbags and totally chic dresses
We finally received our ECO-CHICC (Ecologically Conscious Organization Celebrating Honoring Inspiring Creative Communities) handbags and they're just as great as I remember them. The 100% recycled aluminum can tabs are woven together to create a counter-intuitively soft feel. They are made by disenfranchised women in South America; by purchasing this fashionable and fun bag you have created opportunity for women where there wasn't any before.
As the perfect backdrop to our new bags, a couple of highly anticipated designs finally made it into our ready-to-wear collection of party dresses. The fabulous fuchsia and black dress has a sophisticated sister in silver and mocha. And no, your eyes do not deceive you, those are sleeves on that great little black dress! It's easy to wear (I can speak from personal experience here as I have one of them for myself) and the fun little circle and square payettes scattered throughout give it a dash of whimsy and sparkle.
Thank you, Kristen!

Another artistic success...
The evening is winding down (and I'm totally updating the blog to give my feet a break!) and I am pleased with its success. Laura is the lifeblood of each of our events as her skillful planning and organization ensures a well-put-together evening. Janet's dresses were gorgeous, of course, the models were stunning and Rejuvenation Spa captured the exact old Hollywood look we love. Donna Sager of Garden Laurels went well beyond expectation with exquisitely lush floral arrangements to which my photos will never do justice. Creative Confection's Alicia Russel wowed us again with yummy delicious cake and Flemings Steakhouse delivered on their promise of a magic evening out. David Flood's smooth guitar music set the perfect mood.Thank you to everyone that participated and made the evening one to remember!
