It's a hopping time for tuxedos!

It's been a busy season for tuxedos here at Premiere Couture! We sent out lots of great looking men this weekend, had a fun visit from Jim DuBois of DuBois Formalwear and had some super fun guys in shopping for an upcoming wedding. We love tuxedos!

This is Mark. He obviously has the same lively, inner spark of fun that his sister Meryl, our lovely bride, has. I was just framing up a photo of our new vest panel display while Mark and his nephews were working with Joel on tuxedos when he turned around and gave me this great smile. I had to snap it!

Tuxedos are not just for weddings! Rosemary's son Jayson sported this handsome look for Prom 2010.

Here's Joel and Jayson dressed in DuBois tuxedos for a television commercial we shot in 2000. Aren't they just adorable? And stylish! Joel, on the left, will be our new tuxedo facilitator! How's that for a title?

Our party dress out and about

Our lovely friend Melanie shared this photo from her brother's wedding which she recently attended in one of our fun party dresses. You looked fabulous, Melanie! And as much as we love getting photos of our brides - Melanie was herself kind enough to share those as well - we also absolutely love seeing our party dresses out there, too! Thank you Melanie!!

Prom 2010

Well, just about all of the area's proms have come and gone and we're a little sad to see the season end. But on the bright side, now we get more photos!! Here are a few. Yay!

- This is my (Rosemary) son Jayson with his friend Sarah. I can't believe I've been in this business long enough to have my son be one of our prom customers!

One more thing: if you're a savvy shopper, you may want to check out our remaining gowns - all of which are awesome - for next year's prom. You'll save hundreds of dollars and have the certainty that no one else will have the exact same gown!

Laura and I have been feeling a little starved for images from our customers' events. Won't you send us some? And please let us know if we have permission to post them here for the enjoyment of others. After all, we have the most awesome customers in the world and we'd like to show you off!

New holiday dresses, Penelope scarves and a sizzling customer

So much to share and there will be more tomorrow! Today we received amazing new holiday and party dresses from Donna Ricco that are fantastically timeless and stylish - like the proverbial little black dress but in rich jewel tones instead!

Plus we have received our "Penelope" scarves in three different (click on the photos for a larger view) yet equally appealing and soft fabrics that have already been a great success. We didn't really intend for them to accent our dresses but as I was trying to figure out how to best show them to you, I was struck by how great so many of them looked with a cocktail dress. Who knew?!


We received an awesome thank you note along with fabulous photos of one of our recent customers that decided against the little black dress in favor of a hot little red dress instead and she wasn't sorry! Photographed with Miss Wisconsin, I'm sure you'll agree that Mallory certainly holds her own. Her date certainly thought so. When she took off her coat his first word was "Wow!" No kidding.
