Thank you and bridal show recap

Laura and I truly enjoyed meeting friends old and new at the Wedding Planner & Guide Bridal Expo this past weekend. We appreciate all of the positive feedback on our runway fashions and those shown in our booth! "Vanessa" by Lea Ann Belter, "Melanie" by Lynn Lugo, "Fiore" by Janet Nelson Kumar and one of our spectacular metal taffeta designs from Nicole Miller were all particularly well received so I thought I would post some photos to help you remember what you saw and what you liked.

"Melanie" by Lynn Lugo is shown in the center.

"Fiore" by Janet Nelson Kumar

Metal Taffeta by Nicole Miller. We showed this on the runway with Amy Kuschel's marvelous applique double ribbon sash.

We also had the pleasure of introducing two new employees this weekend, Julia and Meghan, who did a truly fantastic job - thanks ladies!

A thank you is also in order for Aniu Salon and Spa for having three beautiful Caroline DeVillo gowns along with Sara Gabriel headpieces on display for the weekend in their booth - they truly looked wonderful!

We also had the pleasure of meeting a handful of our current Facebook fans and hopefully many of our future fans!

Lea Ann Belter trunk show

We have a wonderful Lea Ann Belter trunk show this weekend, as you may well know, and her 2010 collection is spectacular! One of our favorite models/brides and her sister Alexis stopped by and let us play dress up for a bit so we could show you a few new things, including this stunningly beaded gown by Lea Ann. Thank you, Erin and Alexis!

A few other things that Erin, along with her sister Alexis tried on for us were some of our fantastic holiday/party dresses and an Alyce bridal design.

Milwaukee's Magnificent Brides

Yesterday, Premiere Couture made its debut at the Milwaukee's Magnificent Bride Wedding Show at the Pfister and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was inviting and fun, the brides and their guests were engaging, the decor was spectacular and the gathering of wedding professionals was nothing less than awesome. We had the privilege of having two of our favorites on either side, Front Room Photography and One Fine Day. Even though I know the dedicated organizers of the show worked so hard to put this amazing event together, the results were so natural that it appeared effortless.

We had the opportunity to showcase our fashions on four beautiful models, Jackie, Lindsay, Heidi and Libby, and they carried them off beautifully. Thank you ladies!

It was a wonderful experience and it was obvious to us that those attending the show felt the same. Speaking of those attending the show, Laura and I want to remind all of you who visited us at the show that you have the entire month of March to use your $100 gift certificate.

We look forward to meeting many of you again at our shop soon!

Bridal Show 2008 Recap

What a busy, fantastic weekend! Laura and I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing women at the Wedding Planner & Guide Bridal Show. I am confident that Premiere Couture brings something different to Madison's bridal landscape and we were happy to meet the brides who were looking for that difference. We received a lot of positive feedback on the designs in our booth and on the runway, but I think my favorite comment was made to Laura, it went something like this: "I'm a strange bride because I'm not really very excited about wedding dress shopping, but your store is the one store that I can get excited about shopping at." What an awesome compliment!

Another pleasure that we have during the show is getting a chance to rub elbows with other wedding professionals. It's a once or twice a year thing that we enjoy. We always look forward to chatting with our very favorite photographers from Front Room! You all need to stop by our store and see the absolutely beautiful photo art book they gave us featuring one of our brides and models, Erin, in a "trash the dress" (Front Room prefers to call it "Art of The Dress" and we concur) photo session that they shot at dawn in September in Lake Michigan. Some of the photos already occupy coveted space in our "gallery" but the book is a wonderful way to enjoy even more of their artistry.

We also loved chatting with our neighbors, Coliseum Bar. It's nice to have such friendly people next to you at show since we're standing in each other's company for thirteen hours! Other standouts were the gals at the Kalahari Resort, Beauty Blossoms, Bellezza Studio and Captured Moments as well as Paul Toepfer and his wife. We hope they all had a successful show!
Photos aren't allowed during the show so I snapped these during set up. The designers represented are as follows (from left to right): Caroline DeVillo, Badgley Mischka, Justina McCaffrey, Vera Wang, Amy Kuschel, Lynn Lugo, Janet Nelson Kumar, Badgley Mischka and LeaAnn Belter. Luke was along for the whole weekend with his Aunt Toni on baby patrol. Thank you Toni!!!!
A little different angle so you can better see the new Badgley Mishka bridesmaid dress that got so much attention this weekend. To view a larger image, just click on either photo.
